Default 98 Caravan AC drain hose

Oh yes, another one of those "wet passenger carpet threads. haha

I would like someone to verify if this is the A/C drain hole/hose.

Much help appreciated!

Thanks!

yes it is. Also make sure the cowl drain tubes aren't plugged. Very common for them to plug up and then the cowl fills with water and it enters the a/c fresh air intake and onto the passenger floor.

Great! I'm just a little surprised that it's just a hole that sticks out rather than one that's pointed downwards to prevent the belt system from flicking debris into it.

I will check the cowl drain tubes too for any plugs. Thanks! Will update when I see what's going on.

Thanks again.

Alright guys,

I got to the cowl today and indeed it was plugged. Mainly the passenger side drain tube. Cleaned the junk then got a compressed air nozzle to shoot some air through the tubes and inside of the cowl/windshield tray area. I poured some water over the cowl and water seems to be flowing down the drain tubes. Hopefully that solves the wet carpet issues. I still need to soak and dry up the interior some more as it's still a bit wet. Should be good to go!

Thanks everyone!
