Default Sway bar bushings

I have a 2006 Town & Country and the sway bar bushings do not seem to last even a year. The dealer replaced them under warranty back in February so I think the should cover replacing them again since I have 12 months 12000 miles on the repair. My question is; are there aftermarket bushings (like Moog) that last longer and are better quality? Is this an easy repair that I can do myself?

Thanks in advance.

It is an easy repair. Only two very long studs with self locking nuts. An extra deep socket will make the job easier. Of course the van must be put on stands as you must go under it.

NAPA has the bushings. I have them on my van and so far they have lasted for 60k miles.

Look at the bushings and see if they have a white nylon sleeve on the inside of the bushing against the sway bar. Alot of people still take that out and just install the bushing itself. The sleeve is supposed to stay with the bushing. If it isn't there, they should definitly do it again for no cost.

Consensus seems to be that the Chrysler bushings with the nylon insert are superior to the aftermarket ones. Before I knew about the Chrysler ones, I replaced mine this summer with aftermarket bushings that I'm not happy with. I'm about to go get some from the dealer and hope that this fixes things once and for all.
