Default High mileage oil?

I have been using Castrol GTX 10w-30 oil in the 04 van. I will have 120k miles at the next oil change and will continue using Castrol GTX. It uses very little oil between changes.

My question is, what is the advantage of using Castrol GTX high milage oil? It is the same price.

Probably as many people that have high mileage vans, you'll get different answers.
Our 2001 3.8L now has 160,000 miles on it and I've been using Mobil 1 synthetic for the last two years. With 6-10,000 miles between changes, I have yet to have to add a quart and in fact, I've never even seen any movement on the dipstick.

the high mileage stuff will swell seals to try and stop leaking, not necissarily leaking outside the engine, more like Valve stems leaking.

stick with what youve been using IMHO
