Instrument Panel Help ....... PLEASE
Just wondering if anyone out there has had this issue; 2007 Caravan
My van was running the other day and all of a sudden I lost all gauges and indicator lights in the cluster, left rear tail light and both brake lights. This van has been in multiple times for the sliding door harness and a variety of other issues. GETTING REALLY TIRED OF IT I MUST SAY!!!
Any ideas on where to start? Fuses are good. Relays are good. Radio and A/C are good. MY VAN IS NOT GOOD!
Thanks in advance guys! Cheers, Sadz.
PS Wishing a happy holiday season to all ;-)

My truck did that and ended up removing the bezel around the cluster. I then unscrewed the cluster leaned the cluster forward just enough to get my hand behind it and wiggled & pushed the plugs in and it started working again. The only diference is i didn't loose my rear lights. Others have had this problem so do a search for instrument cluster and you will find out more info about it. Good luck.
Thanks for the help guys! I'm not sure what fixed it as it could have been a combination but here's what I repaired.
- I cut off the old trailer harness end and spliced a new one in.
-I removed the cluster, checked solder joints, re-set harness firmly.
-rechecked fuses for the 4th time and found a blown hazard light fuse (I know I checked it multiple times before) that may have shorted while cutting the trailer harness end???
Anywho, all's well ;-)
Thanks again and I hope my adventure can assist someone in the future.
Cheers, Sadz
PS I think I owe myself a gift now as I feel I saved about $700 in dealer repair costs. LOL!
