cap n rotor are really cheap start there

 

Ok thanks guys.I will head to town and pick up a cap and rotor button and try that first. I will let y'all know how it goes.

Well good news.Up and running again . Once the cap came off and the plug wires pulled I found one terminal corroded bad .Bad enough the metal end of the plug wire was green and very brittle. I also found a bare wire spliced into the wire feeding the coil. Something to do with the remote start it seems.

Great news that its running again!

this is where the use of dielectric grease pays for itself
(use it guys, it will prevent this corrosion and make the boots come off so much easier for anyone working on that car)

hope you used a good smear when reinstalling Lisa, it will make ur life easier next time . (often that little packet when you buy new wires or a new cap is never enough)
