Hemi looking at the diagram is that the side of the throttle body / the round tube at top is the opening for the hose is what im asking ? cause my assembly is different than this? Is this a picture of the right side of the throttle body? Cause if so I believe I have found it.

ok hemi ...I took the iac out cleaned it and the opening behind the butterfly still same thing...
then i went to the electric egr transducer , unhooked both vaccum lines and plugged them and it ran and drove great . i cleaned it out with some carb cleaner hooked the lines back up and ran great all the way home . gonna see how all this does over the weekend and hopefully thats done it.

it could never hurt to clean out those passages anyways the van IS 10yrs old.

well I hope its all fixed for you but if it persists I think your on the right track with the EGR system now. so you can direct your focus now.

Hope it worked for good tho and you dont have to look at it again
