Have 06 grand caravan sxt. have rear and front a/c. if i have a leak in the rear evaporator and expansion valve. Is there any way that i can STOP or DISABLE the flow of freon from the rear components, therefore still having a/c in the front until, i get the cash for the repair?

 

how many miles do you have on it Scott? the warrenty was extended to 7 years / 70,000 miles.

 

If your over the mileage, there is a company called Dealer Automotive Services. They make a kit that plugs off the lines at the junction that is under the passenger side floor boards. then you can charge the a/c and just use front until you can afford to replace the evaperator. The kit is around $50. they have a toll free number......1-800-394-8515
