1996 Caravan is at the dealership for the third time.
Computer was replaced because van wouldn't start. The "service engine soon" comes on before we get home. Dealer has reflashed, replaced, and reflashed again, They said it keeps throwing a misfire code, but the van runs great. Any clues what is causing this ???

This gets people all the time. Misfires can be caused by ignition problems (plugs, coils, wires), bad fuel or poor fuel pressure, vacuum leaks, or mechanical problems. When they happen again and again, it's time to start with the basics, and that includes a compression test and cylinder leak down test.
