Default DVD player and overhead screen issues

I have a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan with the Mygig REN system and dual overhead screens. Recently I have started have issues with the system. The back screen has power, but does not show any connection to the DVD system. The front overhead screen has no power at all. I can put in a disc into the lower dvd player and the counter comes on to the mygig screen, but there is no audio or video comes through. What could be causing this and how do I fix it?

well google it, I believe theres a flat type cable ribben that connects them that fails. I believe ive read it more on the 2 screens then the one. most heard rear would not work and front would but its a try.

I believe you are correct, the cable does seem to be a common problem, see this thread for a possible fix: 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan VES problem fix, even though the thread titles says 2008, the video and ebay links say 2008 thru 2012.
