Why would they do that? Dealerships are some of the biggest rip off artists in this world. They want to charge you $200 for a crappy part that will just do the same thing in a year or two. And think of the over paid engineers that made that design in the first place, real brains...

I have done the repair on my 2009 Town and country with the Metal T, new heater hoses and worm clamps. I have since then put over 100,000 miles on it with no issues. The heating system has worked perfectly fine after the repair. I believe I paid about $12 total for all parts.
