Default Want to remove Stow n Go seats

Howdy. I am new here. I just bought my '05 GV 2 weeks ago. It is for work. I do not need any of the Stow n' Go seats. In fact, I'd love to have the storage space. These seats are clean and look never used, so perhaps they have some value. No idea. Anyone know if there is a market for them?
But how difficult are they to remove? It looks like the middle buckets come out as one unit. Or are they, in fact, separate?
I imagine someone has done this before.
Thx,
Todd

They are seperate. Not aware of a huge market for them but you never know til you try. They are time consuming to remove but not to tough. Fold the seats into the floor, remove the trim surrounding the openings. Clamp a visegrip onto the seats pivot shaft so when you remove it, it can't slide over to the side or you can get big ouch. remove the 3 nuts holding it in and pull it out.

Here's how the service manual say's to do it

Thx for that info Tiz. I decided to keep the middle row as is. I did remove the rears. I am going to make a door to cover the new storage compartment.

Reviving an old thread........ So, what is the seat shaft? Is it the air strut that helps the seat to go the upright position? And how do you unbolt it?
