I swaped my stock equipment out,and installed the 2010 VES with dual flip down,and RBZ head unit.The head unit works fine,cant get rear tv's to come on.Any help would be helpful....THANKS

 

Did you ever figure this out?d I'm looking at purchasing an 08 SXT with a mygig head unit and a single screen and want to add the 2nd screen and 2nd dvd player. What did it cost you for the dual system? Was installation difficult? Did you get the dual system activated in the head unit by a dealer?

I never had it programmed though dealer.I purchased it out of a totaled vehicle.The rbz head unit is the dvd player.Still have no clue what to do next?Dealership is no help,say i need to find the part numbers so they can oreder whatever i need.

 

did the dealer you took it to add the VES system to your vehicle build configuration? The video screens are on the vehicle's bus system. The modules are programmed with the other modules that are on the system. If they don't know a module is there, they won't talk to it. The dealer has to add VES to your vehicle options and then reprogram the front control module with the new options list.

 

as tizzy1 said dealer needs to program options to vehicles modules thru scantool.
