Hi all, just recently bought a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan and noticed it burns oil, and wondering if its a common problem if anyone knows its running on the dealers oil or whatever they use i top it off with mobile 1 and i have a 3.3 engine it has 67000 klm on it so if this is something u heard of on these vans please let me know. thanks rusty...... oh and since the last oil change i put at least 2 qts of oil that was 2 and half months ago i had it changed....

what oil using?
what milage change?
how much oil use?


some say 1ltr of oil per oil change is normal but so far knock on wood every vehicle ive owned has never dropped

 

I have a 2008 Caravan 69,000kms with a 3.3L in it... I just put my second liter of oil into it at 4900kms since my last oil change. I've never had a vehicle that I've had to add oil between oil changes...

years ago, after owning another dodge product, I promised myself that I would never buy another one.... broke my promise, bought this caravan and have been kicking myself in the head ever since.

My A/C isn't working, I've had to replace 1 brake caliper and 2 rotors... sounds like it needs new exhaust... the list goes on and on... <sigh>
