Unhappy electrical issues making us nuts!!

We live in very cold western NY and I wonder if that, and potholes have made our wiring issues rear their ugly heads!! The hatch release works when ever....and not when we try to open the back! The sensor for the transmission was replaced and still makes the dash light come on.....We are not mechanics, and yet, we are NOT RICH. lol So, can not afford a seach party mechanic to look into all this. We look forward to any help from this site.

Default Need a TCM for 2003 dodge caravan???

I finally had to take the 2003 dodge caravan 3.3 in to mechanic....who is totally stumped. He has changed out so much and finally with the computer still giving bad results...he decided we need a part....
TCM # PO4727721AE. Trying to help my budget, which is SMALL, he looked around our Western NY extended area for a used or rebuilt one. But, they are located in bad spot, and get coroded. So, he ordered one from a place in Florida, and is getting a terrible run around from them, and may have gotten scammed! I am now 3 weeks without wheels and going nuts!!! Is there any help?

Can you give us particulars such as what symptoms you are seeing, what fault codes are showing either on the key cycle method or on a scanner, and what parts have been changed? Generally if you get a TCM off the internet you are going to pay $150-$300. EBay may be cheaper. Junkyard is your best bet for the best deal.
