Default 2000 Caravan, Engine is chugging, seems to be misfiring

Hello,

I'm still learning the ropes about the engine. So I'm not sure yet if I really need to bring it to a car repir shop or if I can still fix it myself.

I just picked up a OBD reader cause the engine lite is on. I thought I posted this message here as a start and then when I get the readout I'll post it on here in the same thread.

The Engine has a slight chugging sound when idle or running, cold or warm. Thankfully I don't see any large clouds of smoke out of the exhaust - I remember that means serious engines problems like a blown ring.

It seems like the engine is misfiring, just not sure yet. But I can accelerate still without any problems, it seems the engine still has enough horsepower.

Any ideas ?

Have a better idea when you post the code. Without it it could be any one of a dozen or more causes. Any recent maintenance done just prior to this starting? Which engine?
