What is everones experience with 3rd gen (96-00) electronic fan relays? I have replaced a bunch and find that some vary in off/on etc. and quick failure rate.

Should we just stick with OEM or are the aftermarkets ones ok?

 

For peach of mind stick with OEM, new bosch ones are no longer made by bosch they are made by tyco which is a chinese owned manufacturer so quality is suspect.
