Just walked out into my garage and my 2001 Dodge Caravan's cooling fan was running. The van hasn't ran at all today. Been probably 18 hours or so since it was last drove. Any ideas what would cause this problem. The fan hasn't been running all day as we have been in and out of the garage all day. The fan will turn off when we start the van, but will start right back up after we turn the van off. We just had our radiator replaced in January if that helps.

 

Has to be a fan relay issue or the fan wires shorting to Power. If it shuts off when the vehicle is started, probably not shorted. The relay is on the bumper reinforcement just to the right of the drivers side headlamp housing. Unplug it and see if the fan stops.
