could the anti theft be doing this or is that just the after result...today fired it up run great about 2 min---shut down---tach stuck at idle speed,turn off key and try again, red light will not go off just blink once after turning key on....no engine light or oil light they are at bottom of cluster......

yes i wrote 100.1 my mistake i meant to type 100.0 meaning is correct for 100.0

if it is in the sentrykey(sounds like) side of things you will need a DRBIII to diagnose
