I have a 1995 Dodge Caravan Se...The cable that releases the hood...Is not working...I have tried pulling on the cable several times...And the hood just wont pop up...Does anyone know...What else i can try or do to get the hood to open for me?...First dodge i have ever owned...And still trying to work all the kinks out of it...Was well worth the price...I gave for it...$400 cash...I thought it was a steal at that price

 

Get someone to push down on the hood while you pull the cable, normally works.

 

That would be great...If there was someone to push down on the hood...But there isnt...lol

 

pull on the cable and reach out and hit the hood at the same time.

 

wire the handle as if your pulling it, go out to the front and push down
(this simulates two people)
