Can someone please give me a clue as to decoding the following date code on a Chrysler Infinity CD head unit. Date code....2934 Also I wonder who supplier 26777 is??

Really just curious. So it's not important. I was told by a seller on eBay that the last digit is the year code. So in this case it would be 1994.

 

Correct. Actually did some checking, the first three numbers are the number of days in that year. So you have the 293rd day of 1994.

What I find strange is that this AM/FM/CD player built in 1994 is older than the AM/FM/CD/Cassette I have in my 1996 GC. It seems that usually the newer units did away with the cassette player not the older units. I have no use for cassette anymore so thought I would look for an OEM AM/FM/CD only unit.
