Winshield Wipers jump but don't work

I have a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan, and 1 day the passenger side windshield wiper would jump but not go all the way up. Now both windshield wipers jump but dont work. What could be wrong?

Welcome to the site

Check the linkage on them from the wiper motor. Also, disconnect from the wiper motor and try running it to see if the motor works

The arms are held on to the wiper pivot by a nut. The pivot is splined and the pressure from the nut against the splines is what holds them together. Usually they get alittle loose and start to do that. Lift up the caps and try tightening the retaining nut (15mm).
