HELP! Overheating problem
I just had my 2000 Caravan in to have the front strut mounts and sway bar links replaced. I picked it up and driving it home it overheated, which it's never done before. The coolant wasn't boiling and there was no heat coming out of the heater when I turned it on, but the gauge was reading full hot. I was thinking the thermostat might have stuck, but I'm not sure. I was wondering if they would have had to do any disconnecting of the cooling hoses to get at the strut mounts? Wondering if there might be air in the system?
I just dropped 300.00 on the repairs and am hoping this is something simple. The van has 75000 miles on it and is a 3.3.
