The air conditioning compressor on our 2006 caravan runs continually, even though the A/C control button is disengaged. I noticed it when the weather warmed up and we slid the temperature controls all the way to the left (cool side) to turn the heat off.

I confirmed that the air conditioner was running by checking under the hood. I now have it turned off by removal of the fuse.

Any thoughts about how to fix it?
