Hi all new to this specific forum. We bought a 2008 3.3L Caravan about 4 months ago with about 34000miles on it. About 2 weeks after we got it the fan would just shut off and we would have to stop and then restart the van and usually it would come back on. Then the fan would stop and the traction light would come on. then in the middle of the highway same things would happen and it would just shut off completely or downshift and stay in the lower gear. This has gone on now for months. we have taken it to the mechanic a bunch of times, dodge said it is a fuse box that needs to be replaced but our local mechanic is not sure. He had it for over a week and it was fine after he pulled and pushed on all the harnesses and hit the fusebox. now it is actiing up again and I forgot to mention when this is happening that fuel milage is terrible. Does any one have any ideas about this or do i have to trade this in?
cheers

Probably it is the Fuse Box. it is not just a regular fuse box, it is the central computer for all electronic stuff.
and you can not use a junk yard one, because all Van are equipped with different options and accessory.
it really isnt that expensive, like $550 + labor, compare to how much money u lose from trading it in. if u r replacing it, save the old fuse box, all those Fuse and Relays in the old TIPM will come in handy in the future.
