Air Conditioner question
As you can imagine, we use our a/c a lot here in Arizona, and summer is arriving. Is it better to a) Manually turn the a/c off and on to regulate the temperature, or b) use the temperature adjustment slider? (does this bleed in heat or cycle the a/c off and on?). What method is better from both the wear and tear and the gas mileage point of view? Thanks. 2002 Grand Caravn 3.3 L V6

manually turning A/C off would be better for fuel economy. But it gets annoying.
Temperature sliding will not turn affect A/C clutch cycling because the Heater Core is after the A/C evaporator(cooling panel).
wear and tear wise, I say just leave it on. Circulation of the oil helps lubricate the seals and A/C compressor.
