2005 Caravan Condenser - ATF Fluid Lines
Hi All,
I have a hole (flying rock) in my AC Condenser (2005 Caravan). I want to replace the condenser myself, since all the refrigerant is gone from the system.
I noticed there are the 2 lines for the Automatic Transaxle Fluid that connect to the top right of the AC Condenser. I assume that there are different compartments within the Condenser to divide the R134a/ATF fluid?
Can I disconnect the ATF fluid lines without draining any fluid first? Are the lines pressurized? I assume they are located high so that the fluid drains down when the car is off.
Your help is appreciated.

I have a dodge grand caravan 3.8L and its GVWR is 5700. Im looking to tow a pop up camper. I have a hitch but no additional transmission cooler. Im looking to see what I should buy to get the proper cooler for my van to install. Im also wondering if I should add a towing pkg to this. pls help. thx

Cooler is a good idea when towing. I have zero experience with them.
