grand caravan trunk lock

My wife has a 2005 grand caravan when she hits the button on the key to unlock trunk it doesnt unlock even when you put key in lock it gives you problems unlocking. any suggestions?

Sounds like the lock is starting to seize, Might be a good idea to lubricate it
