Engine code shows P0073. My ambient air temp sensor was missing. I bought the part from the dealer for $15 and installed it myself. Should the engine code clear itself? If so the light is still on. How would I check/replace the harness or check the circuit's electrical connection?

 

The lamp won't go out until 3 good starting cycles. Otherwise do a hard disconnect (disconnect the possitive and negative cables from the battery and touch them together for a couple of minute to discharge the memory capacitors), that should clear the code.
