Chrylser Extends Brakes Warranty!
Got private letter last month re: an Extended Warranty being granted to ALL 2009 Caravans/T&C vans. (perhaps other years too, but mine is 2009) FRONT brakes only, are mentioned. Pads/calipers/rotors are all covered up to 36K miles!
These are sometimes called "Hidden or Silent" Warrantys as Dealer may "forget" to tell you about them. Hmmmmm....
A deductible of $50 applies till 24K miles. then $100 till 36K miles. A bargain, since you'd have used the brakes up to that point anyway, and warped rotors are common today.
Letter says to call Chrysler @ 1 800 CHRYSLER for info if Dealer can't resolve/pleads ignorance/more info needed. Hope you 2010/2011 folks get it.
I'd bring it in at about 34K miles, no matter! What the heck! LOL
