Default 97 3.3L Caravan No heat issue

Recently my Caravan has been having an issue where when the heat is turned on their is no heat coming out. My van has been having a rather nasty coolant leak, radiator leak, could the existence of no heat stem from this.

I have replaced all relays/fuses related to he heating cooling system and nothing thus far. The fan does blow, just no heat at all, when the slider is moved to the heat side you can hear the fan slow down like it did before the heat stopped working.

Welcome to the forum. Low coolant or air pockets in the system will definitly cause a no heat concern. The coolant doesn't need to be that low to lose heat.

I checked all radiator hoses, they seem to be tight, the leak it self seem to be dripping from the side of the water pump, the side the belts are on.

The water pump is a common leak area. They are fairly easy to replace

I know very little about vehicle repair yet Ive kept my wife's van running, replaced dash instrument, alternator, brake actuator switch, brakes. I think its almost time to take it out back with the 12gague lol.

I hear that. I have posted r and r information on the forum in other threads. It doesn't get much easier than a water pump on one of those vans.
