Hello, thanks again for your help, here are the pictures of the engine in my G.C. I also found a site whit the instructions for replacement, but nothing of the conections I need. the link to that page: http://www.allpar.com/model/m/EGR.html and the part number of the valve: EGV830. The information in that page is for a 3.3 lts v6 engine in a 2004 G.C. I checked again the sticker on the driver´s side door and, among other information, it says: MFD Date 4-02.the title also reads year 2002. I hope this information helps.

Ok either they put in a newer engine with the valve for a 2004, for the 2002 it shows a mechanical valve that fits where that electronic valve goes...Can you also provide images of the wires there? you say they are 2 or 3? here is alink to it.

That EGR valve is from a 2005 or newer van. Your wiring and PCM are from a 2002 van with a different EGR valve. You can plug anything you want into that valve in your van but your PCM does not have the software to run that valve. You either need to install the valve it is supposed to have or replace the PCM and the entire engine wiring to run the new valve.

Hello, as you requested, here is a picture of two wires, I´m tinking about sombody replace the entire engine, but, is it posible to change te engine, whit it´s sensors and leave the C.M. of the original engine working with the new one? if it is a 2004 engine, then all I need is the wiring diagram for this engine´s control module, in order to verify the control module and that the conections were made properly to ohter engine systems, please. Thank You!!

buy this valve, http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=933776

that will work with your current engine.. all you will have to do is get the connector for that egr.. The 2 wires will work with the egr on the link.
