2000 Grand Caravan

The AC clutched seized and pretty much melted off of the compressor. I don't know it if it the clutch or the compressor. I cannot turn the spindle.

I have heard that I can replace the compressor with an idler pulley instead. Has anyone done that and if so where can I get one. The AC doesn't work anymore anyway.

The pulley was an aftermarket deal. I'm pretty sure someone on this sight has posted the information in another thread.
