Hello All,

Friend of mine installed my computstar remote start and iDatalink bypass last week and everything was working fine during the installation until next morning when i tried to start to van from cold start and it wont start due to tach wasn't programmed right, however he connected the wire directly from the distributor to compustar tach wire directly and forget to disconnect the bypass tach wire before doing that, the minute he connected the wire the van smell like wire burning he disconnect the wire right away i drove the car for about 5 min and then check engine light came one?? after checking the code with code reader give me the error P0404 the ignition self diagnoses give me the same code once and 2nd time give me P0404 then P0403 and last P0406 then done.

the question here how can I check the wire for damage and where should i check that, i dont want to go to dealer and tell me to change the whole harness.

Please help (van has 114K on the odometer)
