I have a 2001 Caravan 3.3. I have 7 different codes in the computer without the check engine light being on. The codes are p0340, p0108, p1282, p302, p0172, p1193, p0508. The van has had a tune up fuel filter plugs wires new coil. I also have a p0700 which i know is a transmission code. Looked at it some more today and the wires that control a lot of those sensor where run under the egr valve and the plastic cover to the wires were melted but can't tell if it damaged the wires. Please help van runs rough at idle and won't shift.

Have you tried resetting the codes and seeing which come back? Does the SES light turn on then go out when you start up? When you say the van won't shift that means you can't move it out of the driveway. Is that the case? Disconnect the negative battery cable for 2-3 minutes to reset.
