calliper piston stuck rear

Default calliper piston stuck rear

can anyone help with possible causes rear caplier piston won't come out after pushing it in. also brake pedal very soft. it is a 2010 dodge caravan.

yep.....they are pieces of junk. You will need to replace the caliper. Been there......done that.

That I don't know, sorry. I had one of these the other day. Did the rear brakes and went to pull it out of the shop and the pedal went right to the floor. Curse, swear, curse and off come the wheels again. The right rear caliper piston was all the way in. When you pushed the brake pedal, the piston would travel out to the inner pad. When you let off the brake pedal, the piston would go all the way back into the caliper. I hate doing rear brake on the new body style, always something.
