Caravan Shift solenoid depression syndrome
There is. If you are getting a P1776 code, it could be one of two problems. One the solenoid pack assy, two the valve body. Since the solenoid pack is the cheaper of the two. I would try the solenoid pack. But if want to go by what dealer uses for testing, I do have the PDF files for you read. All I need is you to send me your email address and be glad to send it to or any other members that wish to have a copy.
My friend recently purchased (I mean like 3 hours ago..) a 2004 dodge grand caravan. Running on 5cylinders instead of 6.. the person who sold it said when starting it you need to apply gas to get it going. Well after a few successful tries and a period of it off.. it turned into a unsuccessful tries when we tried.to.take it for another drive.. it turned over when trying to start and sounded like it wanted to go.. but now it just clicks repeatedly and doesn't sound like it'll go at all. From my scouring the internet like a chicken without a head then my mechanically inclined husband confirming my suspicions about the vehicle it seems to be a solenoid problem. But I am not sure how to check for sure or.what to do about it. I read somewhere that you can do a transmission controls module reset and sometimes that will fix the issue that seems like it's a solenoid problem. But tips? Pointers? PDFs? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
