I have a 02 caravan with a 2.4 that started misfiring and progressively got worse. It started suddenly and got worse within 10 miles and it does have a bad smell out of the exhaust now, am I looking at a bad coil pack as I suspect or something else?

 

What code(s) is (are) your computer throwing out?

 

the only code is for muljiple cyl misfire and I put on a new coil pack today but still have the same problem.

the fix turned out to be dead plugs replaced them and ran great
