I have about 280k on my GC w\ 3.3 (bought it with 120k about 8yrs ago) and do all my own maintenance\repairs on my vehicles, all Chrysler products. Unless there is a specific reason you need a hotter plug, I have always just used the cheap Autolite and haven't had any problems.
As far as the tranny 'gasket', RTV works wonders, but in the filter kit you get at the parts house it should include a rubber type gasket. Put some blue Loctite on the pan bolts, tight in sequence to torque, and you should be good to go.
