Default 1994 Dodge Caravan 3.3L - Map Sensor Test good ... I think?

I still am having a problem with a rough engine idle when the engine starts, enough it shakes the whole vehicle and vibrates the seats inside. When it doesnt blow the "Engine System" 15amp fuse blows.

So I found this great video on how to test the MAP sensor, which I think is on any vehicle.

On the caravan the MAP sensor is behind the engine connected to the back of the intake manifold. Its between the manifold and the firewall. Its a black box with a female 3 pin connector on the passenger side. It also screws in and out, by rotating the entire MAP sensor.

I tested it by first confirming the voltage from the PCM was correct. With the key in the ON position but the engine not started, I got 4.88V DC on the middle pin on the connector and 5.00V DC on the left (or rear) pin on the connector. Then I re-connected the MAP sensor and used a safety pin to push into the connector to make a connection. The paper clips I found had too large of a diameter. I snipped the sharp point off the safety pin so not to penetrate the cable within the connector. I got 4.6V DC on the middle pin with the connector connected, and 5.00V DC on the left (or rear) connector when connected to the MAP sensor.

I think this means my MAP sensor is good and working as it should. Hopefully, this helps any others trying to test that MAP on the 3.3 or 3.8L engines.
