I have a disabled customer that needs to add a power lift gate to her 09 caravan. I have seen some posts regarding earlier models but not 09. I have come up with a list of parts from Dodge, but am wondering if any wiring is likley to be present and any other potential issues. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

 

No wiring will be present so you would have to get connectors for everything and wire it all in yourself. Then you have to hope it is something that can be added to the vehicle's build configuration. You can add anything you want but if the van doesn't know it has it, it won't work it. The dealer would add power liftgate to the vehicles vin in the Chrysler computors and then you update the vehicle's build configuration with a scan tool. Some stuff you might not be able to add.
