Default 2004 Dodge van HELP

Hi I have a 2004 with the 3.3 and 4 speed auto. Wife was driveing it 2 weeks ago it slammed into second gear and its been stuck there and I cant seem to figure it out. I took it to a transmission shop and they pulled codes p0480, p0700, p0762, p0888, They reset the codes and p0700 keeps comeing back. They dropped the pan changed filter and fluid and told me it wasnt an internal error. I have changed both speed sensors and just got done changing the shift solionide. It is still stuck in second gear and Im short on founds. any advice would.

I took a test light to all the wires connected to the tcm and cant get any power. I also can only get power on 1 side of the relay in the fuse box. I even switched some around and still only poer on 1 leg and nothing on the others.

The PO888 code is in this case interesting....this code is triggered when the TCM cant read inputs....At this point I would center my attention and make sure the TCM is not faulty....I am not recommending buying one at this point, but I would advise to get the service number off of module and check for reflashing software or a history of similar complaints....

the sticker on the tcm says it has been updated once before. We have owned it for 2 years and it only has 120000 on it. Dodge wants 100.00 just to look at it used one on ebay for 50.00 is it worth it or should i fork out the full amount if its bad for a new one. it has the same pn# as the one in my van.

If it is ALWAYS in limp mode, then it has to be electrical....I would make sure the TCM has voltage going to it.....On most models it would be terminal 56 ( but that may need to be verified on yours with a wiring diagram) at the tcm connector... also there may be a fusible link between the battery and tcm......
