Our driver's side mirror has been wiped out. We've had the vehicle into the shop 3 times and each time the mirror they have in stock does not have the correct wiring harness that matches our van. All of the mirrors we've gotten have a simple black rectangle for the harness, ours is slightly different.

Is there another mirror with a different wiring harness out there that we're unaware of? Our mechanic is as puzzled as we are. Was this a transitional year for the body style?

 

Yes. 2008 was the first model year of the 5th generation minivans. Are these coming from a dealership? If not, head there with VIN# in hand and see what they can do for you.

This makes sense. Our mechanic has been trying to find us the cheapest mirror and we keep coming up with the same issue...wrong harness. After 3 weeks of this I'll begrudgingly be okay with paying the extra price to get the right mirror through a dealership.
