just bought a 2007 caravan sport
so what part of the van is "sport"

 

none of it.......lol It is a minivan

Don't know specifically about 2007, but it had little "extra" bits... the spoiler over the rear glass, (?painted side view mirrors?).... I think back when hubcaps were standard, it gave you nicer "sportier" rims... the overhead console also had temperature/compass and a sunglasses holder... leather wrapped steering wheel... moulded running boards... Back when it was offered, you could also get AWD as an option on the sport up until that option was dropped in 2005. I'm NOT an authority on this stuff either. But I always found it strange that being a "SPORT" model, you could get the "sport" package with just the 3.3 Litre engine instead of the bigger 3.8. But then again, I suspected at the time that the dealership was throwing some of those items onto the van to give it a more attractive appearance and just calling it a sport.

 

...in other words, a marketing gimmick.

 

...awww.... you make that sound soooo devious...

 

Diferences, Spot Lights, Sport Rims, RPM Gage may be the bumpers.

 

...and not limited to Chrysler Corp. There's nothing sporty about a box with 4 wheels no matter how much lipstick you put on it.
