HelpAfterHeadWork
I have a 95 Dodge Caravan with a 3.0L V6 and 90k miles. I just replaced the head gaskets and did a rebuild on the upper motor. After replacing all gaskets, seals, water pump, and timing belt it was put back together. When setting the timing I was extremely careful to set the crank at TDC on #1 piston and even aligned the timing marks on the crank sprocket and oil pump housing. Then the timing marks on the cams were also both lined up with their timing marks. After having the motor back together and setting the distributor rotor at #1 plug at TDC, I cannot get it to start. I have spark and fuel and believe that all my connector are on and vacuum lines connected. The motor turns over and sometimes hear the engine sputter like its about to ignite, but nothing. I followed the Haynes manual every step of the way. I'm frustrated and at a loss. Any help would be appreciated.
