Hi friends a few things happening now. My remote to control my locks stopped working. Also my door power locks are malfunctioning. The side doors have to be locked by hand and the driver side door wont open with my key. I have to hold it open with the key.I hope this makes sense.

Anyway it is a problem does anyone know if this can be dealt with?

Have you replaced the battery in the remote control?

If by "side doors" you mean the sliding doors, have you inspected the wiring harnesses to each door? That said, the motor to actuate the locking mechanism does eventually wear out. Are they both not working? Did they both go at the same time?

When you say "door power locks" are you referring to the switches on the front doors that actuate the locks or are you talking about all the locks in general?

 

Yes the sliding door locks went out at different times. Yes I replaced the battery in the remote and it still does not work. It is the power windows up front I cannot open in my front and the drivers side window is off its track now. It needs a lot of help. It just all seems to be wanting to go all at once.

No I am not sure where to find the wires like you said.

What model year? Do you have power sliding doors?

 

1996 Model. No It is manual sliding doors.
