Have a 97 grand caravan (239K mi). Heater motor has been giving me issues recently. Sometimes doesnt work unless I go over a bump and then it starts up. It seems noisier at the higher speeds than before. So one of the summer projects is to replace this motor. I would like to replace it with a quiet blower motor. Those of you that have replaced these motors, what are the quietest motors (brand names, etc) and of course, still powerful enough to move lots of air. And any other advice to do once I have everything apart. I am also planning on replacing the heater core since that has never been done also. Any replies are appreciated.

 

Any ideas anyone?

 

I guess I only use factory replacement parts. Make sure you check the resistor too, have had more issues with them than the motors.
