Default 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport Towing question

I have a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport with the 3.8l V6. It has a factory trans cooler. My question is what is the max towing capacity? What type of hitch is the best? I think i have the factory towing package. I found the unopened Dodge towing harness in the back of the van when I bought it.

Please advise me o the best hitch for my van

Thanks Jason

You are aware that your towing capacity is listed inside your owner's manual, correct? But if memory serves, it should be 3500 lbs with a 350 lb tongue weight. I am almost certain that this makes it a class 2 hitch that you will need but a hitch shop will tell you what you need for 3500 lbs anyway.

You got an answer to your question. I gave you your max towing capacity as well as the tongue weight which you didn't ask for but would need. And being that you didn't mention the fact that you didn't own a manual, I did not know. Some people ask questions without knowing that the information they need is in the owners manual. It's not an "understood" fact that since you asked a question that I would know you didn't have a manual. But you won't get many answers in the future if you respond in the manner that you just did. Don't be quite so sensitive. We don't know you yet. but welcome.
