I have an 07 Caravan that sometimes won't crank. I have replaced the starter and the battery cables are good. Battery also checks good. I have had it towed several times from 2 miles to 100 miles. Each time, it comes off the truck and starts??? Yesterday I was out of town and it would not start, I ran through the gears and tah dah, started. I drove it back home only to encounter the same problem this morning. I tried shifting through gears and back to Neutral...no luck this time. Tow truck's on the way.
A friend suggested that it could be the neutral safety switch on the transmission. Any thoughts.
Everything electronic works fine, just won't turn over, no clicking, no nothing. I appreciate any help.

 

I would agree that the NS switch could of went bad.....Also perhaps the security system could of disabled starter if your vehicle has it?....
