Question 02 Grand Caravan Miss #2 No Code

I finally figured out how to start a thread!
I seem to have a goofy problem that involves cylinder 2 with zero spark. Vehicle started running horribly last night. Replaced plugs and wires, were needed, but not the problem. I then replaced the camshaft position sensor, some improvement, but still running rough. Check Engine is not on. I did the three bump ignition trick, no codes, it says "done". Autozone scanned it, no codes. Pull wire cyl. #2, runs the same, no spark, other 5 are fine. I have purchased a coil pack, but have read that many times this does not solve issues. I am hoping for a little help before I pull the brake fluid reservoir and replace the coil. Thanks, Bob

Hey Bob. Glad you stopped by but we need your model year and engine type.

When you say "Pull wire #2, runs the same, no spark", does that mean you proved there was no spark by holding the plug wire close to ground or pulled the plug, reattached the wire then held the plug close to a ground and had no spark?

Yes, there is no spark at #2. If I pull the wires one by one, I get severe sparks from the boot on the other 5 and a noticeable difference in the engine running, if I pull #2, no difference, no sparking. It is an 02 3.3L in a Grand Caravan. Thanks so much. Bob

Seems to be repaired. I went ahead with the coil pack installation and that seems to have worked. Thanks

Can anyone explain why there was no code thrown for that?
