resetting speedometer

Arrow resetting speedometer

I have a 1997 caravan with a 3.8 sport edition with tach, it appears that my fuel,temp and speed are all 3/4 higher than they are supposed to show??? I have tried holding the trip and reset button and watched the gauges do there thing, all appears to be working but off on there readings..... any ideas>?????

When the gauges move, they should point at the appropriate calibration spot, do they appear to move to the correct spots?

All of the gauges are calibrateable with a scan tool.

The tach appears to be the only one that is even close to spec, fuel speed and temp are all off, other than that the rest of the gauge works fine and I have alreay re-soldiered the conections. I have access to a few scanners I guess I will try that? which one would you recommend.....

I guess I'm not sure if aftermarket scan tools will do the gauge calibration. I work at a dealer so I use the factory tool.
